Expert Educational Guidance
At Elevate Essay Coaching, Dr. Rebecca Skulnick works one-on-one with students virtually, customizing every session to meet each student’s specific needs.

Rebecca tutors 11th and 12th grade students as they craft college essays for a wide range of schools, including UC campuses, state universities, Ivy League institutions, and specialized programs in nursing and engineering, as well as colleges that ask students to respond to values-based questions.

Her approach is student-centered: She help students bring out their voice and write with clarity, confidence, and purpose. She does not write or rewrite essays, but guide, coach, and support the student’s authentic process.
Students begin with a 60-minute coaching session to help review their prompt(s), learn about their interests, answer questions, and outline next steps. After that, parents can book additional sessions as needed — most students can complete a primary essay in 6 sessions.

Focused Support, Limited Enrollment
As a full-time teacher and parent, I know how important it is to give students thoughtful, individualized guidance — and how hard that is to scale. That’s why I work with a limited number of students at a time, usually no more than four. This allows me to offer meaningful, one-on-one support tailored to each student’s needs and voice. If I do not currently have space available, you’re welcome to reach out to join the waitlist or ask about upcoming availability. I appreciate your understanding and your trust.
